The Right to Education Act 2009 mandates that all private unaided schools have to reserve 25% seats for the children from disadvantaged or economically weaker sections from the neighbourhood. Their complete education is free and the admission happens only at class LKG and Class 1. Unfortunately, the people who can benefit from this are unaware of this or the procedure.
Poor parents need help in understanding about the Right To Education Act and in applying for admissions. Volunteers needed to speak to parents in their local language.
Volunteers can register here in the form below and report to our partner in Delhi, Indus Action to support the calling. Basic training will be given and calling can be done from their office at K-112, Civil Colony, BK Dutt Colony, Jorbagh, New Delhi | Google Map
Volunteers who are unable to visit the office will be trained remotely and can contribute to calling remotely. Register on the form below and further information will be emailed to you.
