Bhopal: State government has directed all district collectors for reimbursement of fee of children studying free of cost in unaided private schools. Directives have issued to obtain signed copies from the schools that have uploaded proposals for fee reimbursement for session 2014-15 and ensure fee reimbursement through online process.
According to a release, directives have also been given to tally names of the students for whom fee was reimbursed during session 2013-14. Process will also ascertain whether children are studying in concerning school continuously. Directives have also been given to ascertain schools to upload Samagra IDs of all children on the portal.
The schools not having uploaded fee reimbursement proposals till date have been directed to expedite the work.
Right to Education (RTE) Act provides for admission of 25% children of weaker and deprived sections in class 1 or first admissible class of aided private schools. For academic session 2014-15, the state government deposits maximum Rs 3,826 prescribed as reimbursement for every such student’s fee or actual fee charged, whichever is less in concerning school’s bank account online.
